Let's face it. Life today is very stressful. If someone says they have no stress at all then
they must be holed up in a cave somewhere and have no interaction with the outside
world. When you have a lot of stress in your life you will start to notice the effects in how
you look and feel.
Stress hair loss is just one side effect of stress. However, you can
manage this type of hair loss if you know what to do.
Guided imagery. This has been proven to produce a relaxed state and reduce stress in most individuals.
Autogenics. This is a method that involves reversing the fight or flight response by
getting into a meditative state. You will learn to become aware of specific body
sensations and learn how to relax.
Reduce caffeine intake. For those that are stressed out caffeine will make the stress worse because it increases your heart rate and makes you feel jittery.
Yoga is a great way to reduce stress and learn how to relax. Yoga can also help you get into shape.
Stop procrastinating. One of the biggest causes of stress in our lives is the fact that we are always putting things off. Putting off something that you can easily do today is setting you up for a huge amount of stress.
Drink in moderation. If you are drowning your sorrows in booze you will not
be doing yourself any favors. Drinking to combat stress does nothing but
cause more stress when you sober up.
Take care of yourself. You can do this by eating right and getting enough sleep.
Don't forget to drink plenty of water and do your best to get some form of exercise every day.
These are just a few things you can do to combat stress hair loss. When you get your stress under control you will feel better all over.
